Trails Magazine Issue 14

Trails Magazine Issue 14

Trails Magazine Issue 14 is a look back through our memories and a celebration of the places we've been. Stories—like a reflective essay remembering a classic piece of gear and a writer's return to hike the longest trail in her tiny home state—celebrate nostalgia. It begins on the front cover, which features its first film photo, taken by Stephanie Blenderman, is a wistful look at the Eastern Sierra. This issue's stories include an examination of the decline in congressional wilderness designations, the story of a dual-species paddling trip in Washington, the history of the venerable adventure skirt, reporting on just how far the outdoor community is willing to go to support Indigenous rights, plus all the recipes, trip reports, maps, and more than you expect from Trails Magazine.
